When the 27-year-old from Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, asked her "Nana Betty" to be her bridesmaid, she responded, "How can I say no to my granddaughter?"

The 89-year-old grandma donned a bridesmaid's gown when her granddaughter Christine Quinn asked her to be one of her bridal party at her wedding, and she took her task very seriously. But there's something so touching! Read on…

Just few months before the wedding on May 2nd 2015  in Pennsylvania,  Christine asked Nana Betty to be a bridesmaid "so she didn’t have too much time to think about it." The bride never expected her to actually say "yes" because her grandma is modest and doesn't enjoy being the center of attention.

"She asked me about 10 times, 'Are you sure?' and 'Why would you want an old lady in your bridal party?'" Christine told HuffPost. "A few times she even said 'All of your bridesmaids are young and pretty, why would you want me?' Obviously Nana is beautiful too.

Christine continued:

"Nana got on the party bus with the rest of the wedding party instead of ‘going home to rest’ but did not tell my mum [her daughter].

"We had to tell her what to do and who to walk with a couple times, but by the time she got to the altar she was smiling and waving at everyone," Quinn told TODAY.com.

"She also danced the entire night away, including an adorable moment when she and my husband’s grandmother, Bellsie, danced together.”

Nana Betty spoke the truth when she said: “You’re only as old as you feel and I feel young today." Just look at those photos!"

Apart from her grandma stealing the show as her bridesmaid, there’s something else unique about the couple, they share the same last name out of coincidence - Christine Quinn and Patrick Quinn!
